IoT development: firmware, sensors and monitoring that run unattended

We write the firmware, connect the devices to the cloud, and build the dashboards and alerts that make the data useful, for factories, fleets and buildings. Prototype boards are validated on the bench before any hardware is ordered in volume.

What we deliver

Scoped in the 48-hour proposal, priced as a fixed quote or a monthly team.

  • Embedded firmware

Firmware for microcontrollers such as ESP32 and STM32, using FreeRTOS or Zephyr, with secure boot and signed updates.

  • Device-to-cloud messaging

MQTT telemetry over TLS, with retained messages and reconnect logic that copes with weak network coverage.

  • Edge gateway software

Local processing on gateways for filtering, buffering and alarms that keep working when the cloud link is down.

  • Sensor integration and calibration

Drivers and calibration routines for vibration, temperature, current and pressure sensors.

  • Condition monitoring analytics

Thresholds and anomaly models that flag early signs of equipment wear, tuned on your historical data.

  • Real-time location tracking

RTLS tag and anchor integration for asset and person location, with zone-based alerts.

  • Device management and OTA updates

Device provisioning, certificates, staged rollouts and rollback for devices already in the field.

How we run iot & embedded projects

  1. 01

    Reply in 4 hours

We reply within 4 hours during IST business hours and ask about the device, the environment it runs in and the data you need.

  2. 02

    Proposal in 48 hours

Architecture, hardware options, connectivity choice, security approach, timeline and a fixed quote for the first prototype.

  3. 03

    Bench prototype in 7 days

A clickable dashboard and a bench demo of the device sending real readings, so the design is tested early.

  4. 04

    Two-week sprints

Firmware and cloud pieces are built in sprints, each ending with a test run on hardware and a written results report.

  5. 05

    Weekly releases

Cloud services and firmware builds go through CI/CD each week, with hardware-in-the-loop tests before any device update is released.

Stack

What you can expect

  • Devices that keep recording and buffering data when the network drops, then sync when it returns.
  • Firmware updates that can be rolled out in stages and reversed if a batch misbehaves.
  • Equipment condition alerts that reach the right person through the channel they already use.
  • Telemetry stored in a form that engineers can query, chart and export.

Questions buyers ask us

Something else? Ask us directly. First reply within 4 hours.

Can you build hardware, or only the software?

Our focus is firmware, embedded software, cloud and dashboards. We work with your hardware partner or contract manufacturer, and we can help choose off-the-shelf modules and development boards for prototypes. Custom board design needs an electronics specialist, and we will say so early.

Which connectivity should we use?

It depends on range, data volume, power budget and cost per device. Common options include Wi-Fi, LTE-M, LoRaWAN and BLE gateways. We compare them in the proposal, including the running cost of each.

Can you build IoT systems for factories and buildings in India?

Yes. Our team in Thrissur can build condition monitoring and telemetry for factories, warehouses and estates across India. We plan for variable power and patchy network coverage, which are common on Indian sites.

How do you secure devices in the field?

We use unique device identities, encrypted connections, signed firmware images and a staged update process. Keys are kept out of source code, and the security approach is set out in the proposal.

How long does a prototype take?

A bench prototype with a clickable dashboard is delivered within 7 days of agreeing scope. Production hardware, certification and manufacturing take longer and depend on the device and the market, so we plan them separately.
