PDPL and what it means for the build
Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, the Personal Data Protection Law, sets rules for consent, data subject rights and cross-border transfers. It can apply to processing connected to the UAE even when the work is done in India. We map personal data and assess the transfer basis during discovery, and record both in the project documents.
Arabic, UAE PASS and the Dubai day
Arabic interfaces need right-to-left layout and mirrored icons where direction carries meaning. UAE PASS is the national digital identity used across government and some private services, and we can integrate it into login flows.
Dubai is 1.5 hours behind IST. A 9 am to 6 pm Dubai day falls between 10:30 am and 7:30 pm IST, which gives about 8 hours of overlap with our 9:30 am to 6:30 pm Kerala office day.
